android phone tips to download tv shows and movies-
Theres a lot of application nowadays from android market that lets you watch your favorite tv shows directly on your android phone, but you have to be connected to a wifi network or it will cost you a bit from data usage from your carrier. but what if your traveling? here is some apps i combined using to be able to download tv shows.
first, you need to download "real player" from google play.
this is the most important application because this will serve as your download manager for downloading videos.
second, you need to download "MX Player" this will serve as your media player. "real player also works and theres other more player from the market but i like this one the most cause it has a touch screen ui. and also i recomend this because you need to edit the title of your downloaded video before you download another one. and mx player does it faster.
third, there is this new app in google play called "TV Portal". it lets you watch tv show and movies through your android devices.
but as i say, i will tell you how to download it using this three apps.
ok, lets start!
Open all this apps first for som license agreement or set up needed for you to use this apps.
once its all ok, you can now start.
-first, connect to a wifi network cause it will consume a lot of data.
-then open TV Portal and browse the tv show you want to download.
-select what season and episode you want, and some links will be shown.
-select one and in the next screen, you can see an option to "get video player" or "play video"
-select "play video" and a pop up will appear asking you what player you want to use. we have downloaded "mx Player" and " real Player" so there will be three player shown on your screen. the "movies","mx player", and "real player"
-you must select "real player" cause it has a built in download manager-
-after you select "real player", another pop up will appear asking you to "playback" , "download" , " or "playback and download". select download.
-it will go back to the previous page but you can notice in the notification that download manager is running. you can see the progress if you open the real player application, then hit menu button and select download manager.
-when the download is done, you can edit the title by opening the "mx player".
you can find your downloaded video in the rn-download folder. ( remember, you must change the title)
then go back to the download manager in "real player application", hit menu button and clear the completed downloads.
and where done!
